Client Check-In, Session & Check-Out Procedure Changes

Updated as of June 1, 2020.  We imagine that there will be some additional updates to this list, but we wanted to let you know some of the expected changes to plan for when scheduling does resume.

  • Stay in your car or outside the office until we call you in or enter office no earlier than 5 minutes prior to your appointment time.  
  • In order to enter the office, you must wear a face mask. If you do not have one, we will provide a disposable one for you.  You will be required to wear the mask at all times unless specifically allowed by your therapist. 
  • A pre-screen, including a series of questions & a temperature check, will be required prior to EACH appointment for the foreseeable future.  If you fall into any of the following categories  we will need to cancel your appointment and reschedule for a date at least 14 days out.
    • Any of your answers  to the pre-screen questions are answered in the positive,
    • Your temperature is over 100.4 
    • Consider yourself to be in zone 6 or 7 of the Risk Tolerance Assessment Chart
  • We are amending our normal Cancellation Policy to allow you to cancel or reschedule any appointment with no fee until further notice.  No-Shows will still be charged. 
  • Prior to your first appointment back, you will be asked to complete, read & sign a NEW addendum to our intake & waiver, specifically for COVID-19. 
  • We will have hand sanitizer provided by the door and we ask that you use it upon entering the office.  
  • In order to limit exposure, we will be keep the talking to only what is necessary for the session, such as pain status, pressure & the bodywork.  Although we will be excited to finally see you again, we will need to keep our in-person conversations to a minimum for the time-being. 
  • At this time, we do not have a clear answer on expectations during the session regarding mask wearing.  Most likely, you will need to wear it for all face-up and side-lying work, at a minimum.  We will update this as we learn more.
  • Until further notice, there will be no face or scalp massage.
  • To decrease unnecessary contact, we are asking that all clients that are able to pay through electronic means, such as credit card, Zelle, etc please do so.  On your first visit back, we can put the card of your choosing on file and will use it for future purchases & auto-pays.  Cash & Check will only be accepted if no other method is possible.  
  • To decrease the points of contact and to also make sure we have enough time to prepare & sanitize the facility for the next client, we ask that you do not linger after your appointment time.  We look forward to the day when we can once again socialize & even hug, but now is not that time.  
  • We will still have our retail items available for purchase, just ask! 
  • We will not automatically provide water, as we used to, so just ask, we will happily get you a cup if you desire!
