TULA Closure until May 3rd

Following the updated Shelter in Place orders for Santa Cruz County, Tula Center for Bodywork will be closed to massage & sauna appointments through May 3rd.

If you are a monthly massage member OR you have an appointment scheduled during the month of April, please take a moment to read the excerpt below. This same information was sent out via email to all clients that are affected.

“Unless notified otherwise, plan that ALL April appointments will be cancelled. We have outlined specifically what this means for you, as a Monthly Massage Member, as well as included several ways you can support TULA during this challenging, uncertain time, so that we can be here for you once we can open our doors again.

** You are on an autopay for the 1st of the month.  Even though it is unlikely that we will be able to provide massage during the month of April, we are asking that, if you are in a position to do so, that you allow your autopay to go through, as normal.  This influx of income will help greatly with our ability to “weather the COVID-19 storm” until we are able to work again.  
** In return, we are prepared to “make good” on all April massages in future months, at your request.  
** Alternatively, IF you are in a position to support us by NOT requiring reimbursement of services for your monthly membership, please reach out and let us know.  We would be extremely grateful for this offering.  
** IF you are NOT in a position to have the autopay deducted from your account, PLEASE LET US KNOW BEFORE TUESDAY, MAR 31st at 10pm and we will put your membership ON HOLD until you request otherwise.  
** IF the non-essential business closure continues beyond April 30th, we will be putting ALL Memberships on hold for the month of May, UNLESS specifically requested to continue as an offering of financial support, as we will not be able to guarantee reimbursement of multiple months’ services.  

Like many small businesses, this challenging time will stretch us to the limits, financially, socially and emotionally, but we are hopeful to be back offering our services and seeing all of you again as soon as we are allowed!  

If you are wanting and able to support us in additional ways, please consider these ideas!

• Purchase a gift certificate for a friend or family member to use once we are opened again!  We LOVE new clients!
• Write a positive review on Google or Yelp to encourage future new clients!
• Visit our Retail store (starting 4/1).  We have all of our in-store inventory updated on there and will be offering some great specials starting April 1st!  We will have schedule “pick-up” days for all purchased products! 
• Also on our retail page, we have a COVID-19 SUPPORT item as well.  This is a way to offer financial support, if you wish.  
• Join us on Facebook and Instagram to offer your support and your inspirations and to stay tuned in to the fun new resources we are rolling out while we are unable to offer massage therapy. 

In the meantime, we are planning for the future and making changes that will allow us to be a part of your self-care journey and our local community for many more years to come!
