TULA COVID-19 Re-Opening Protocols

INITIAL PAPERWORK

➢ Completed and signed COVID-19 TULA Waiver

COVID-19 TULA Questionnaire

            ○  Provided with session reminder.. MUST be submitted before EVERY scheduled appointment and is REQUIRED for entry to the Facility.

PRE SESSION CHECK IN

➢ Thank you for refraining from entering the facility no earlier than 5 minutes prior to your appointment time. 

          ○ Please remain in your vehicle, or outside the office, until we call you in for your appointment.

➢ Face Masks are REQUIRED to be worn at all times inside of the facility.
            ○ Please let us know if you do not have a mask, we will gladly provide a disposable one for you.

➢  A Pre-screen, which includes COVID-19 TULA Questionnaire & a temperature check, will be required prior to EACH appointment as per County and California Massage Therapy Governing Board guidelines.

➢  Appointment must be cancelled & rescheduled at least 14 days out if:

            ○  Any answers to the pre-screen questions are answered in the positive○  Your temperature is over 100.4

            ○  You consider YOURSELF to be a high risk US zone (6 or 7 on the Risk Tolerance Assessment Chart-RTAC)

            ○  You consider US to be a high risk to YOU (1 or 2 on the RTAC)

➢  We will have hand sanitizer provided by the door and we ask that you use it upon entering the office.➢ We are amending our Cancellation Policy to allow for cancellations and reschedules with no fee until further notice. No-Shows will still be charged.

DURING SESSION PROTOCOLS

➢ In order to limit exposure, we will ask that the talking be kept to a minimum for the time-being.

           ○ Although we will be excited to finally see you again, we will need to keep our in-person conversations only what is necessary for the session, such as pain status, pressure & the bodywork.

➢  During the session, face masks are required while in the “face up” position.

➢  Until further notice, there will be no face or scalp massage.

POST SESSION CHECK OUT

To decrease unnecessary contact see the following post session protocols:

➢  Water provided upon request

➢  Payment by electronic means is suggested and encouraged when possible.

           ○  On your first visit back, we can put the card of your choosing on file and will use it for future purchases & auto-pays.

           ○  Cash & Check will only be accepted if no other method is possible.

           ○  Credit card, Zelle. Apple/Samsung/Google Pay Arriving soon!

➢  To minimize time in the reception area, we strongly advise booking sessions out in advance, booking remotely or booking online.
