Jennifer Root, L.Ac., MTCM
Jennifer received her Master’s in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Five Branches University. She has advanced clinical training in integrative physical medicine, utilizing acupuncture, herbal, dietary, exercise and manual therapies for a wide range of acute and chronic pain conditions of the head, spine and extremities. She specializes in the treatment of sports injury, orthopedics, neuromuscular pain, repetitive strain, mood, sleep and weight disorders.
Jennifer is certified in Tuina, a traditional Chinese massage technique incorporating deep tissue compression, percussion, vibration, lymphatic drainage, soft tissue and joint mobilization to rehabilitate muscles, joints and connective tissues. Jennifer has also begun post graduate training in dermatology, utilizing Traditional Chinese Medicine and herbal therapies to treat a wide range of allergic and inflammatory skin conditions such as dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, vitiligo and acne.

Jackie Christensen, Ph.D., Naturopath & Ayurveda Practitioner
Jackie uses both a Western and Ayurvedic approach to reinvigorate the body and remove toxins that are blocking vital energy; aid the body in its natural course toward healing; assess the whole person, not just the symptoms and search for the underlying causes for imbalance.
Jackie focuses on the importance of digestion and elimination to maintain health and the ayurvedic approach works wonders for leaky gut, chronic inflammation, autoimmune conditions and irritable bowel. She specializes in treating digestive issues, food intolerances, blood sugar balancing, detoxification and cholesterol balancing.
Clients receive an individualized and multidimensional plan for wellness. The initial consultation includes a comprehensive analysis of concerns, pulse, nail, hand and tongue diagnostics, and a physical examination. Recommendations may include dietary guidelines, herbal formulas, relaxation techniques, detoxification therapies, exercise, bodywork and lifestyle recommendations to restore health.
Jackie currently teaches herbology, ayurveda, detoxification and weight loss courses through Cabrillo College Extension, Mount Madonna Institute of Ayurveda and the Kingdom College of Natural Health.

Kecia Fowler, L.Ac, Dipl.O.M., BCTMB
Kecia is a Licensed Acupuncturist and a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine as well as a Board Certified Massage Therapist. In her acupuncture practice, she specializes in pain management, orthopedics and autoimmune diseases. Kecia spent 14 years practicing bodywork with a similar focus as her acupuncture practice. She found a passion in treating people with chronic pain and autoimmune diseases as well as endurance athletes looking for a way to decrease their recovery time and increase their performance. Kecia’s belief in an integrative approach to health and wellness is what led her to pursue a Masters Degree in Traditional Chinese medicine at Five Branches University. Throughout her career, Kecia has been committed to expanding her knowledge by continuing her education to further specialize her bodywork. Kecia has gained valuable techniques to utilize for the people who need to manage symptoms of chronic pain and debilitating illnesses. She is also in the top of her field in helping endurance athletes decrease their recovery time and increase their mobility.
